THE STONEX SPLITTER STONE VENEER CUTTING TOOL WAS BUILT FROM A NEED.
We wanted a stone veneer cutting tool that was fast, tough and easy to transport. After much research, and not finding one that fit our criteria, we made our own. We build the StoneX Splitter from quality, USA sourced materials and parts.
Over the past three years, we’ve done extensive field testing, refining the materials and tweaking the design. We regularly took feedback from masons all over. Our biggest mistake was trying to make a lower cost version, with a cheap hydraulic pump. The Enerpac Electric Hydraulic Pump we use now is a big part of the cost, but it’s worth it for the longevity. The cheap pumps would only last 6 months to a year, where now our pumps are known to last for many, many years.
